I have see the winners list before but I have never seen all the shortlists going back to 1969. Very interesting. I did a quick count and I have read 32 of them. Not too shabby.

Thanks for commenting, Thomas. I find shortlists endlessly engrossing. There are so many books on there that I discover just by seeing them listed, or get around to reading because I am reminded of them having seen them listed. I want to read all the winners, and then some of the shortlists, but with an extra 6 each year I don't think there's much liklihood of reading ever getting through them all!

32 is not too shabby at all! 2 more than me anyway! What are your favourites of the ones you have read?
